Houston FC's unique Salsa-of-the-Month club gives ALL salsas chance to stand up and be heard!! (Or tasted!) We'll educate you about Salsa and what it's made of, its health benefits, the chile peppers inside of it, and provide you with the best-of-the-best.
Every time we travel (and we travel a lot!), we look for unique, small batch crafted salsas, using unique ingredients or having a great story behind the salsa. The spirit of the small company is alive and well, and it is time for the world to taste some of these exceptional blends! They range from mild to wild, from deep and smoky to kissed with fruit, we will give ALL salsas chance to stand up and be heard!! (Or tasted!)
We host salsa tasting parties and we are planning our first open-to-the-public salsa tastings to evaluate the newest contenders for the monthly crown. We will present 20-30 salsas, and our Salsa of the Month will be based on the taster’s reviews. Your vote counts! Plus, our salsa tasting events will feature one or two of our own hand crafted gourmet salsas just to see how we stack up with the biggest and best salsa brands in the market! Who knows, one of these days, our brand may be one of the Salsa of the Month stars!
We are constantly looking for new and interesting salsas, whether they are traditional or totally unique! Our goal is to find salsa you would never find in your local grocery stores. The small salsa companies we come across have amazing salsas, fresh ingredients, limited distribution, and wonderful people behind them. Each shipment will come safely packed, and will feature a copy of our Houston Hot Sheet newsletter, a new easy to make home salsa recipe, and a feedback card so we know how you liked your selections. Remember, your vote counts, and we will review our notes and post our findings every month. We want to know what you like, why you like it, and what we can look for to keep you teasing your taste buds.
